Forthay began at our Cotswolds bed and breakfast, where we first started hand-baking small batches for our guests.
Today, we remain a family-owned British brand, still baking on a local farm and supplying over 300 independent shops, cafés, hotels and delis nationwide. Sustainability guides every step, from fresh-to-order baking and zero-waste packing to award-winning carbon-balanced paper packaging.
Recognised by the Guild of Fine Food, we have earned Great Taste Awards every year since launch, celebrating flavour with purpose.

Forthay was created with wellbeing at its heart. After being diagnosed with coeliac disease over 20 years ago, our founder struggled to find gluten-free products that were not filled with unnecessary additives, preservatives and “nasties”. So she set out to create something with flavour, ingredients and goodness in mind for her guests’ breakfasts.
We work with a professional nutritionist and focus on maximum nutritional value, pure, untampered ingredients and complete transparency.
Our range is 100% gluten free and coeliac-friendly, we also bake vegan-friendly and nut-free options, so everyone can enjoy Forthay, whatever their dietary needs or lifestyle.
OUR INGREDIENTS
100% NATURAL
We use only highly nutritious, 100% natural ingredients that are never processed and contain no additives, chemicals, or refined sugars.
Our granolas and mueslis only contain a maximum of 45% gluten-free oats and cereals. The rest is packed with premium nuts, fruits, and seeds for naturally balanced flavour and nourishment, all made using British Cotswold Gold cold-pressed rapeseed oil.
Every batch is hand-baked fresh to order, and all products are independently lab-tested and certified gluten-free.
