Well our first packet of Sour Cherry Bakewell granola has disappeared in no time, it was sooo delicious! Thank you also for the tasty cacao and orange granola bars which were a welcome treat on a south Devon coastal walk!
We discovered Forthay by chance in a local farm shop, and have been firm fans ever since.
Key point is that, unlike most granolas, it is not heavily sugared, so the flavours of the individual ingredients come through and the textures of those ingredients are present as well, without the whole thing feeling terribly “earnest”!

Inspired by the traditional and legendary Bakewell Tart, using ground and whole almonds, seeds and buckwheat. Then baked in honey to form crispy golden frangipani clusters and topped with a generous helping of sour cherries and flaked almonds.
