As the granola slowly bakes, the honey and oats form delicious clumps and our farmhouse kitchen is filled with warming scents of cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and allspice.
White mulberries provide a wonderful texture to the granola, particularly when partnered with soft sweet chopped dates and a generous scattering of toasted coconut flakes.
